US NAVY P-COAT 1940'S DEAD STOCK(36)

This is a dead stock USNAVY P coat from the 1940s, size 36.
This is a model commonly known as 10 button with 10 front buttons.

Made of extremely thick and tightly woven Melton wool, it has excellent wind and cold protection.
It is slimmer than the later P coats and can be worn stylishly.

Since it is dead stock, the chin stock at the collar, which tends to be lost, is still intact.
The use of white corduroy for the pocket lining is a detail unique to older P coats.

This classic P coat can be called an original, and it is very rare to find it in dead stock, so please consider this opportunity.
