I am Muranaka, a staff member of Vintage & Select Shop WANDERER.

WANDERER is a select shop that handles rare vintage items, one-of-a-kind pieces, and Indian jewelry that have been carefully selected by visiting various parts of the United States and Europe.

Introducing the TRUJILLO'S vest, custom made by WANDERER, which arrived today.

"CHIMAYO" Weaving

“Chimayo” is something that American casual lovers cannot avoid.

The history of CHIMAYO Weaving begins in the 17th and early 18th centuries when the Ortega family, a group of Spanish pioneers who immigrated to America from Mexico, moved to the village of Chimayo, New Mexico.

They herded long-haired sheep called ``Churro'' and began making clothing and rugs from their wool.

The Ortega family established three major Chimayo brands , ORTEGA'S, TRUJILLO'S, and CENTINELLA, while passing on techniques of sheep farming and Chimayo weaving from generation to generation.

TRUJILLO'S, where the craftsmanship shines

The brand TRUJILLO'S is a workshop started by John R. Trujillo's, as the brand name suggests .

He is a skilled craftsman who has been selected as a Living National Treasure, and continues to make all items by hand that are slightly different from ORTEGA'S, with finely elaborate patterns and distinctive silver concho buttons.

After the first generation, John Trufilio, passed away, his son Carlos Trufilio inherited the craft, and today everything is still made by hand.

WANDERER custom order 3COLORS VEST

This 3-color vest custom-made by WANDERER incorporates a "crazy color" in which all three parts, on the left and right of the front, the rear and the best, are all different colors.

You can enjoy different faces depending on the viewing angle.

In addition to the three base colors of gray, brown, and black, the chimayo pattern is woven with threads of slightly different colors of blue, green, red, and white, so it is recommended that you can enjoy a wide range of color combinations.

This item is normally available in sizes 34 to 42, but due to its popularity, only size 40 is available for purchase this time.

Since everything is made by hand, it takes about two months to make one piece.

In the winter, it's a highly recommended item that can be worn over a knit or tucked under a jacket.

It will be released for the first time on the WEB SITE today!

Please consider it as soon as possible!
